When my ethical knitwear brand dream turnt business stopped being in alignment with my personal values, I knew I had to take a step back to rethink everything.

At a glance, importing yarns from abroad became an unpredictable ordeal, my initiative to allow knitters to dictate the cost of their labor backfired and had to be rethought, and seasonal collections felt wasteful and irrelevant.

I knew that my first brand was a testament to my ability to run a business and a passion project which taught me many valuable lessons, but if I wanted to continue down this path, I had to do it right.

At the start of 2018, my thoughts and concerns followed me on a trip to Peru. Being immersed in such a hands-on culture, further sparked an existing desire to be in touch with the planet as a creator.

Thus blossomed the idea by the name of: People! I began the journey of figuring out how to address the many issues we continue to face today through the very thing so many of us love - fashion.

Feeling like it was a race to space, I kept brainstorming hoe to create a unique design solution that wouldn't make me another brand cluttering retail shelves. That is until I realized that I kept dealing with many wardrobe malfunctions such as over and underdressing for weather and occasion.
